Fluorescence Microscopy Workshops: From Basic to Advance Microscopy

The first day will be an Immunolabelling workshop with lectures and hands-on sessions in which the participants will perform an immunolabelling using a single cell system. This day is followed by a 4 day workshop called 'Fluorescence microscopy and quantitative imaging'. The workshop will cover basic microscopy and fluorescence microscopy before introducing more advanced techniques including FRAP, FLIP and FRET. The participants will also be introduced to different types of fluorescence microscopes, like confocal laser scanning microscopes and multi photon scanning microscope as well as image analysis software in lectures and hands-on sessions.
