PhD position: Characterisation of doped Si nanowires for photovoltaic applications.
Minatec is a multi-disciplinary nanotechnology research centre based in Grenoble, France. We are currently developing photovoltaic cells that use doped nanowires. We are currently looking for a PhD candidate whose primary task will be the characterisation of the dopant atoms in these nanowires using advanced transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques such as high resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and off-axis electron holography.
