At Neuroscience 2016, arivis has introduced InViewR, a solution for true, immersive interaction with 3D and 4D image data.

Virtual Reality offers the possibility to inspect 3D or 4D datasets by natural movements of the head and a controller. The user can fully immerse in the data using special glases and a Leap Motion Controller. Featuring hand gestures to navigate, create clipping planes or set measurements from overall views up to detail views in the nanometer range. Regions of Interest can be explored from various perspectives and in their spatial context. Virtual travels through image data create a feeling of immersion that facilitates completely new insights through a better understanding of the spatial structures and their contextual relations. The spectator virtually dives deep into his research data.
