Edmund Optics has introduced Techspec Raman Edge Filters which are ideal for integration into Confocal Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy and Life Science Instrumentation. The precision filters provide single filter solutions to reduce spectral noise in Stokes shift applications.

Techspec Raman Edge Filters utilize a hard coated design for excellent transmission characteristics compared to traditional coated filters. They are designed to create sharp transitions between transmitted Raman signals and blocked laser wavelengths. The filters feature steep edges, which are ideal for detecting even the smallest Raman shifts
