HiTek Power has introduced the XR150 X-Ray power supply. This modular unit is rated at 150 W and meets the exacting demands of todays high-performance industrial X-Ray systems because of its low output ripple, high-accuracy filament monitoring and control, as well as a stable beam-current loop.
The device is rated at 60 kV and 2.5 mA. It incorporates a 5 V 4 A floating filament supply and beam-current control. Supplied from a 24 V DC rail, it features output ripple of less than 100 V peak-to-peak on the high voltage output. The temperature coefficient for voltage and beam current is less than 100 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range, while temperature drift for voltage and beam current is ±0.1% of rating over an 8 hour period after 30 min. warm-up.
