Digital microscopy and image-processing technologies play a major role in industrial quality and process assurance, reducing effort required for manual and visual tasks and optimising processes. The digital approach of the analySIS family provides significantly higher objectivity and reproducibility compared to conventional inspection methods. The results are more precise, more reliable and are obtained faster. Structured archiving and automatic reporting of these results to industrial specifications ensure the period fixed for industrial documentation and data storage requirements.
The analySIS family offers flexible and high-performance software solutions for materials testing laboratories performing the following tasks: acquiring and processing images digitally; analysing, evaluating and archiving them; managing related documents and finally generating reports. All family members are easy to use for image analysis applications, such as layer thickness and roughness measurements, micro hardness testing, chart navigation and grain size analysis, amongst many others.
The individual analySIS series of software products have a common range of functions. Each successive member of this flexible and modular series is an expansion of its respective predecessor. This makes it easy for users to adjust their system to meet new requirement profiles as applications change.
At the foundation of the analySIS family, analySIS start offers a high-performance system for image acquisition and complete software control of camera and microscope. Using analySIS start, perfect images are acquired, particles counted, dimensions measured, distances calculated all at the push of a button. Alongside analySIS start functions, analySIS work meets users needs for all elementary metallography tasks. In addition to image acquisition functions, analySIS work has an extended range of interactive measurement functions, as well as structured archiving and professional report generation.
