Agar Scientific announced their appointment as distributors for the products of TEMwindows.com for the UK and Ireland. Agar will sell pure silicon UltraSM TEM windows together with silicon oxide and silicon nitride products.
These products are state-of-the-art transmission electron microscopy windows that enable the characterization of cutting-edge nanomaterials by incorporating the latest MEMS and thin film technologies.
Silicon oxide windows are robust 20 and 40nm thick windows that tolerate demanding depositions and harsh conditions. UltraSM porous silicon windows incorporate 10-50nm pores to provide background free imaging. Non porous UltraSM windows are available in 5, 9 and 15nm thick amorphous silicon for high resolution imaging. In addition UltraSM windows are robust enough for plasma cleaning and tolerate high beam currents.
It supplies SiMPore's UltraSM membrane technology for TEM and related applications. These products are fully integrated with, and supported by, the technical expertise at SiMPore.
