Programmable Synchronized Fiber Laser

Fig. 1: Block diagram of the programmable synchronized fiber laser: the tunable, programmable laser is combined with the MOPA using a broadband WDM coupler. Both lasers are electronically controlled through a low-jitter FG circuit which also provides the delay to synchronize the pulses of both lasers to better than 2 ps. of each other.
