Modular Instrument

The OptoSplit image splitters from Cairn Research allow two or three wavelengths of light to be imaged simultaneously on to different areas of a single camera chip. For some applications this approach doesn't provide sufficient spatial resolution and multiple camera chips are needed instead. The TwinCam is a modular instrument that allows two or more cameras to be coupled to the same microscope output port with pixel alignment. It uses the same filter cubes as the OptoSplit and multiport Microscope Coupling System and adds innovative fine alignment and focusing controls. more
