Lumenera has introduced Lg11059, a high resolution 11 megapixel Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) digital camera for industrial and scientific imaging applications.The camera offers five frames per second at full 4008 x 2672 resolution, high dynamic range of up to 66 dB, integrated Canon EF lens mount, selectable eight or 14-bit image data plus locking GigE power and GPI/O (Hirose) connectors. more

CCD Camera achieves 200 fps: Prosilica recently released its fastest CCD camera yet. The new GE680 runs 200-plus frames per second at VGA resolution and even faster at lower resolutions - up to 1500 fps when using a 25x25 region-of-interest. The cameras' gigabit Ethernet interface is capable of sustained data rates of 125 megabytes per second. It complies with the AIA GigE Vision interface standard, making it easy to integrate into real world applications.
