Extend the Capability of FLIM Measurement

The Fluorescence Lifetime (FLIM) upgrade kit from PicoQuant has been further improved and is now also available for the new two photon confocal microscope from Olympus, the FluoView FV1000MPE with non-descanned detection (NDD). The upgrade kit extends the capabilities of the microscope towards time-resolved FLIM measurements with a temporal resolution down to picoseconds and allows users to perform various analysis on this time scale. more

Imaging Workstation for a Broad Range of Applications

TILL's iMIC-Andromeda is an imaging workstation capable of combining a broad range of imaging applications. The modular approach of the iMIC allows the integration of methods such as TIRF, FRAP, Photoactivation, FRET, FCS, Multiphoton, Structured Illumination and last but not least our proprietary Laser Spinning Disk Confocal Andromeda.
The heart of the Andromeda is a single spinning disk with a fundamentally new optical concept. more

Quantify Life with TCS SMD Series

Leica Microsystems has released the first single molecule detection system which offers an integrated platform for the most common single molecule techniques, such as FLIM and FCS. The new TCS SMD Series also provides the ability to perform the newer and more precize verification methods for molecule concentrations and interactions, FCCS (fluorescence cross-correlation spectroscopy) and FLCS (fluorescence lifetime correlation spectroscopy).

Innovation for Multichannel TCSPC System

PicoQuant announces a new software release for its multichannel picosecond event timer and Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting system "HydraHarp 400". Version 1.2 provides a new real-time correlator for Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS) that calculates two autocorrelations and the cross correlation between two photon streams simultaneously, making best use of current multiprocessor systems.

Measurement of Fast Dynamics Using Laser Scanning Microscopes

Measurement of Fast Dynamics Using Laser Scanning Microscopes. M. Digman and her co-workers describe and extension to image correlation spectroscopy using the raster scanning of standard confocal microscopes. By comparing measurements at different focal points, data at time resolutions comparable to FCS are obtained that also contain spatial information. Information about significantly slower processes is contained by comparing the data in adjacent lines and even in frames. more
