Omniprobe Acquires Assets of Ascend Instruments. Omniprobe announced that they have acquired the assets of Ascend Instruments. This company provides hardware and software for sample preparation and manipulation in the Focused Ion Beam (FIB) microscope. In the near term, its product line will be manufactured at Omniprobe‘s Dallas, Texas, facility.
