Digman and her co-workers describe and extension to image correlation spectroscopy using the raster scanning of standard confocal microscopes. By comparing measurements at different focal points, data at time resolutions comparable to FCS are obtained that also contain spatial information. Information about significantly slower processes is contained by comparing the data in adjacent lines and even in frames. more
