Pushing Interline Further

Andor Technology announced a higher performance from the most sensitive interline CCD camera on the market, Clara. Based on measured QC data from the first 200 cameras built, the company is able to reduce the typical read noise to 2.4 electrons at 1MHz, representing a low detection limit. In addition, a significant improvement to the cooling performance; the Clara now offers cooling to -55 °C with internal fan only (no water required), complementing an impressive -20 °C under fan-off (vibration free) operation is possible.

Basler: Serial Production Started

Basler: Serial Production Started - Basler's pioneer series entered series production in May 2007 with the first series production batches for the majority of models in that family. After a zero-series phase the cameras have accomplished key customer tests. The product family consists of ten camera models from VGA to 5 megapixels in resolution and up to 210 frames per second in speed. They are equipped with Kodak or Sony CCD image sensors to ensure the best mixture of speed, resolution and an attractive price. more
