Power Scaling of CW Single-Frequency Lasers
Cobolt 05-01 DPSS Lasers, up to 3W
Cobolt has recently introduced four new high power laser models on the 05-01 platform for high power single-frequency DPSS lasers.
The Cobolt Zouk 355 nm is now available with an output power up to 20mW, the Cobolt Samba 532 nm up to 1.5W, the Cobolt Flamenco 660 nm up to 0.5W and the Cobolt Rumba at 1064nm up to 3W.
The proprietary laser cavity design of the 05-01 series lasers provides ultra-low noise performance (<0.1% rms over 20 Hz-20MHz and over 10-40°C), a narrow spectral linewidth (<1MHz) and immunity to optical feed-back. The power scalability and uniquely high optical and single-frequency performance provided from this laser platform open up new possibilities to use compact and robust DPSS lasers in some of today's most demanding cutting edge applications, including super resolution STED microscopy, UV fluorescence analysis in flow cytometry and confocal microscopy, Ti:Sa laser pumping, DNA sequencing, Raman spectroscopy, optical tweezers, nonlinear frequency conversion and particle analysis.
The laser is manufactured using Cobolt's proprietary HTCure Technology in a compact and hermetically sealed package, which provides a very high level of immunity to varying environmental conditions and exceptional reliability. Lasers built using the HTCure Technology have shown to withstand multiple 60G mechanical shocks in operation without any sign of degraded performance. They can be exposed to extreme temperatures (>100°C), and are insensitive to pressure and humidity.
